John Lennon and New York City - this is the story of a great love and a great tragedy. Documentary filmmaker Michael Epstein depicts the interrelationship between a unique city and one of the most influential artists and political activists of the 20th century. "We couldn't have existed anywhere else like this," says Yoko Ono. For his Lennon portrait, Epstein was able to get her to give one of the most candid interviews she's ever given about her husband.
