The human body and the cinematic moment of movement

Dancing is "pure movement", at the same time film is a medium of constant movement: Two forms of artistic expression can hardly come together better! The dance film is even a genre of its own that builds on the affinity of film with dance - the human body and the cinematic moment of movement combine beautifully. Dance films already existed in the silent era, and with the advent of sound films, dance became the focus of film musicals and Broadway films. To this day, dance plays a major role in films, as the expressive movements dissolved in film always reflect an attitude to life: longings, desires, moments of happiness of the dancing body.
