Marquard Bohm

The distinctive actor is a legend of the young German film

Marquard Bohm was one of the greats of the young German film: a unique, striking, completely unmistakable actor of whom one often didn't even know if he played his roles or "just" lived them. In the 1960s and 1970s he was long regarded as the "German Belmondo", but then he fell into oblivion at some point. Quite wrongly!
